its crazy all these years later and its still insane to me they made MCC a thing. was even worse is before this right when MCC came to pc modders already fixed all this 2 entire years before the dev team got to it and fixed even more the dev team never fixed. 343i stands as the worse game Dev studio ever and it shows. its crazy to me that bungie a game studio that didn't even wanna make halo anymore after CE still have games leaps and bounds better then 343i with billions of dollars. amazing video by the way the way you went back on mp maps and realined it almost 1:1 is dedication and even now i respect it

Gee...you know, there was speculation for a while that 343 Industries was deliberately sabotaging the Master Chief collection, so that we would think the original titles were buggy messes, just like the new titles, and wouldn't want to go back to them.

Biggest difference is the frame rate. It’s a LOT more stable now.

Nit picking at its finest, the shades of white are different at the reach screen. I prefer the darker one of the brighter one as I don’t like being flashbanged while trying to enjoy a video game. Especially at the title sequence. Also if you know anything about night vision you’d know it doesn’t magically light up a cone in front of you unless you want to project your location to an enemy that’s also using night vision. Most use light from other objects such as the moon that then multiplies the light by x amount then that lets you see. So it’s actually good it doesn’t light up the plants. I say it’s nitpicking and I’ll explain why so you’ll understand the title sequence has no weight on the look and feel of the game. Sure all the other criticisms of the lightning in the game changing the feel and look, as obviously that’s the case. Again however the title sequence is literally seen for 1/100th of the game time you spend playing and is not gameplay so stfu about stupid shit that literally does nothing.

Have any of these been changed since? I think Reach still looks the same on MCC.

The sound design for this game is awful

as someone who played a ton of the OG halo games and none of infinite; it is painfully obvious that 343 has no idea what fits, what doesn't, or how anything should work. its like an in house knockoff. to think that the IP and developer split only for neither one to retain their value is heartbreaking.

finally the hammer got a nerf. range was ridiculous

343 tries too hard making their games competitive and balanced rather than fun

This is why I can't play Halo Infinite. I hate all the buffs and nerfs they're constantly putting out for weapons. They did the same with Halo 5. I'll go back to playing this game once they stop screwing it up.

With shock weapons so prevalent, I feel like PP could still have non-EMP utility by a) stripping shields of driver/passengers instead of disabling vehicle b) stripping overshield like in past games (for PVE mainly. With Mythic skull on it takes like 4 overcharged blasts just to take down a Bip Bap, making the weapon even MORE useless if stacked with Famine Skull)

That before part with the gravity hammer, I’ve never killed someone with it that far
